Kobe Bryant injured his shooting wrist for the first half of the season and then had his nose broken. He lost Phil Jackson, Lamar Odom, and Derek Fisher. In the midst of it all, his wife is divorcing him and is trying to take half his money.
Yet Kobe still persevered and pushed the Lakers as far as one man could. Any other player with off-court issues would have probably crumbled under pressure.
But not Kobe Bryant. He went out with 42pts in a last ditch effort to extend the series.
